Management Philosophy

Michael A. Cassio, P.G.
President/Chief Executive Officer

Mike Cassio has served as the President and CEO of e²M for the last eleven years, and he was elected as Chairman of the Board in 2000. While a hands-on leader, Mr. Cassio empowers the Senior Management of the company in execution of day-to-day operations and has found a balance between business success and technical quality. Mr. Cassio is located in the Headquarters office in Denver, Colorado.

Mr. Cassio received his Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Southern Colorado in 1986. He is a Certified Professional Geologist and Registered Environmental Manager.

Neil E. Botts, CPG, RPG
Executive Vice President

Neil Botts is an Executive Vice President and member of the Board of Directors. He has held various technical and managerial positions within e²M in his over 11 years with the company, and he currently oversees all administrative functions. Mr. Botts is located in the Headquarters office in Denver, Colorado.

Mr. Botts received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Geology from the University of California in Santa Barbara (UCSB) in 1983. He is a Certified Professional Geologist and a Registered Professional Geologist in numerous States.

Brian K. Hoppy
Senior Vice President

Brian Hoppy is a Senior Vice President and member of the e²M Board of Directors. Mr. Hoppy provides corporate oversight on all aspects of operations, administration, and marketing for Conservation and Planning services, which include NEPA services, Natural and Cultural Resources, Energy Services, and Noise Analyses. Mr. Hoppy is located in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania office. Mr. Hoppy has been with e²M for eight years, and has over 17 years of environmental and management consulting experience.

Mr. Hoppy received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from The George Washington University in 1990.

Allan J. Priest
Senior Vice President

Allan Priest is a Senior Vice President and member of the Company’s Board of Directors. He currently manages one of e²M’s Compliance Business Units, providing senior oversight and management for a wide range of projects addressing air and water quality compliance, environmental & health/safety assessments, EMS implementation, regulatory compliance systems, pollution prevention, and GIS. Mr. Priest is located in the Sacramento, California office.

A Registered Environmental Manager, Mr. Priest has been with e²M since 1999. Mr. Priest received his Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resources Management from the California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo in 1990. He has since taught courses in Clean Air Act permitting and petroleum storage tank requirements at the University of California (UC) Davis and UC Berkeley Extension programs.

Glen R. Turney, PE
Senior Vice President

Glen Turney is a Senior Vice President and member of the Board of Directors. During his four years with the company, he has managed the engineering, construction, and restoration business unit for e²M. Mr. Turney is located in the San Antonio, Texas office.

Mr. Turney received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Montana State University in 1987 and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Houston in 2000 (receiving the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence). He is a Certified Professional Engineer in Tennessee, Oklahoma, Colorado, Georgia, Guam and Texas and a Registered Environmental Manager.
